New Release Schedule!
I always imagine that Breaking Down would be a good Sunday show. A good end to the weekend and a great start to the week. You're relaxed, winding down, maybe hungover, and nothing would be better than just flopping in your chair and watching your weekly dose of random mayhem and drama that I unabashedly (most of the time) subject myself to. At the same time the adventure and daring that is involved might give you a great heave-ho into your work week. Although, I do always have to remind myself that this is an internet series and that you can watch it anytime you want. Ultimately I figure – unless you're a die hard fan – that you don't really care what day each episode is released. All the matters here is that the show is released in a weekly basis...
So, yea, OK, I know, the show isn't released yet. It was supposed to be but it's not. I've already written about this in a recent update so I'm not going to again go through the reasons but they are good reasons! All and all, I am very sorry that the show isn't being released on time. In my defense, however, I never did really say the exact date it would be released; all I really did was say it would be New Years 2011. OK fine! I guess that means Jan 1st but I never expected to release it on that date in the first place. SO LET'S COMPROMISE.
I am about a month behind so I will release the show on Jan 30th. That's the LAST Sunday of January. That way at least it's still in the 1st month of 2011. And that's not all!! To make up for my missed deadline and to hopefully regenerate some clout with you fine folks I will be releasing little snippets from each episode as we go. Since it's the New Year we'll call it my resolution but it's more of a coincidence really.
Until then I must get back to work. It will be a trying month for Jordan but I can tell you that it is going very well and each episode is something special. Your support and encouragement have been a major factor in this project continuing and I promise to not disappoint 95% of you. You other 5% can't be figured but I do want you to know that it is you, oh 5%, that keeps me butter-knife sharp. My doors are always open to the black sheep of the group for a hearty sit down. So, please do not hesitate. I thank you all and I wish you the Happiest of New Years.
Lastly, in the spirit of keeping the year fresh (and my episode ideas fresher) – What is your New Year's resolution for 2011?? Please let me know and drop a comment below.
